  • The Mahjong Mix teaches a structured format inspired by traditional Chinese Mahjong, adapted for clarity, accessibility, and enjoyable gameplay. As Mahjong has many regional variations and scoring systems, this format simplifies key elements while preserving the core gameplay and strategy. This approach provides a strong foundation, making it easier for players to learn and transition to other Mahjong styles.

  • Sessions are designed for adults (18+). If you’re interested in including a younger participant, feel free to reach out at bookings@themahjongmix.net to connect and determine if it’s a good fit.

  • No experience is required. The Mahjong Mix Experience is designed specifically for beginners, and you’ll be guided step-by-step so will know how to play by the end of the session.

  • Everything needed to learn is provided, including the Mahjong set, card table & chairs, mat, and all materials.

  • Each session is designed for up to 4 participants to ensure a more personalized and guided experience.

    • Weeknight Experience: 2 hours

    • Weekend Experience: 3 hours

  • Sessions are held in your home or preferred location. All that’s needed is space for a card table and 4 chairs.

  • Absolutely. The Mahjong Mix is designed for beginners and is perfect for ladies’ nights, social gatherings, couples, and small groups.

  • Yes. Each participant is required to complete a waiver prior to the session. A link will be provided after booking. Each host must forward the link to all participants to fill out.
